Claire graduated from City University London in 2014 with a BA in Journalism. Her degree included a term abroad at the University of North Carolina in the US, where she She began interning at the Press Association in January 2015, where she was quickly hired as a Staff Writer for Snappa, the news agency’s online news platform. Over a year and a half, the varied role saw her fly to Milan to interview YouTube stars, try out dog yoga, attempt to survive a juice cleanse and review immersive music festivals. While working for PA, she produced music event coverage and album reviews for the news wire.
She moved on to Reveal Magazine in 2016, as a Celebrity writer. After two months, she was appointed Acting Senior Celebrity Writer. Here, she covered everything in celeb-land, from red carpet events and press junkets to working out with Victoria’s Secret model trainer Justin Gelband. Aside from waxing lyrical about all things showbiz for Reveal, she also covered music and travel as a freelance writer for titles like Magnetic Magazine and Best.
In early 2018, she took a break from writing to backpack across Southeast Asia. Her travel blog, Suo Loco, follows her travels. She arrived in Sydney in May, where she has been working as a freelancer writer since.
